Aquesta infraestructura, amb\u00a0una capacitat total de 900 persones, ha perm\u00e8s la celebraci\u00f3 de 4 dies consecutius d&#8217;esdeveniments en el marc del Festival de les Arts i del Disseny. El proc\u00e9s de disseny es va realitzar internament al<a href=\"http:\/\/coda-office.com\/cat\/work\" target=\"_blank\"> laboratori CODA (Computational Design Affairs) <\/a>de l\u2019Escola T\u00e8cnica Superior d\u2019Arquitectura del Vall\u00e8s (ETSAV), exclusivament amb eines i estrat\u00e8gies ensenyades al m\u00e0ster, incl\u00f2s el programari Wintess, desenvolupat pel director acad\u00e8mic del programa Ramon Sastre.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7330 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric-300x148.jpg\" alt=\"FotoCloscaParametric\" width=\"300\" height=\"148\" srcset=\"https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric-300x148.jpg 300w, https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric-1024x505.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric-500x246.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Donades les restriccions de temps i pressupost, la soluci\u00f3 constructiva adoptada va ser una <strong>closca reticular de doble curvatura conformada el\u00e0sticament a partir d\u2019una ret\u00edcula plana de tubs rectes<\/strong>. L\u2019empla\u00e7ament a dintre de un llac, buidat per a aquesta ocasi\u00f3, va condicionar que l\u2019estructura qued\u00e9s penjada de la grua que es va utilitzar per la seva erecci\u00f3. La ret\u00edcula es va realitzar amb perfils tubulars est\u00e0ndards de fibra de vidre connectats amb unions girat\u00f2ries provinents d\u2019un sistema de bastida. Per sobre de la ret\u00edcula de tubs, una lona patronada garantia la impermeabilitat i el control lum\u00ednic requerit pels continguts audiovisuals. La forma final va arribar a trav\u00e9s d\u2019un proc\u00e9s de <em>form-finding<\/em>, amb qu\u00e8 el propi material \u00e9s qui computa la forma. El principal repte va ser trobar num\u00e8ricament i amb precisi\u00f3 l\u2019estat tensional i la forma final que adquiria l\u2019estructura per pes propi, dissenyant \u00fanicament les llargades dels cables.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-7331 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric2-300x157.jpg\" alt=\"FotoDissenyParametric\" width=\"300\" height=\"157\" srcset=\"https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric2-300x157.jpg 300w, https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric2-1024x536.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/upcschool.upc.edu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/FotoCloscaParametric2-500x262.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>L&#8217;estructura demostra com s\u2019est\u00e0 avan\u00e7ant cap a nous paradigmes de disseny, en un nou escenari on l\u2019<strong>esfor\u00e7 en computaci\u00f3 contribueixi a reduir la petjada ecol\u00f2gica de la construcci\u00f3<\/strong>: <em>High-tech design, low-tech fabrication<\/em>. Augmentar la capacitat d\u2019an\u00e0lisi permet utilitzar estrat\u00e8gies m\u00e9s eficients de construcci\u00f3, basades en les propietats intr\u00ednseques dels materials i estalviar, aix\u00ed, energia i massa en el proc\u00e9s de fabricaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El projecte de construcci\u00f3 de l\u2019auditori ef\u00edmer del FADfest va ser desenvolupat \u00edntegrament a l\u2019estudi CODA i va ser possible gr\u00e0cies a la <strong>integraci\u00f3 dels m\u00e8todes de c\u00e0lcul en un entorn de modelat param\u00e8tric<\/strong>. La simulaci\u00f3 es va realitzar comparant dos m\u00e8todes d\u2019an\u00e0lisi no lineal: d\u2019una banda, la relaxaci\u00f3 din\u00e0mica (Grasshopper- Kangaroo2) i, de l\u2019altra, el m\u00e8tode de densitat de for\u00e7a i matricial (Wintess, desenvolupat pel soci de CODA Ramon Sastre). Tots dos m\u00e8todes es van calibrar amb assajos de trencament de laboratori. En aquest sistema es dissenya el proc\u00e9s i no la forma: es deixa directament als materials que agafin la forma que vulguin tenir.
