From May 9 to 17, 2026, Girona, Temps de Flors celebrates its 71st edition and once again fills the city with creativity, colors, and aromas. During these days, Girona is transformed into a large floral stage where streets, courtyards, and emblematic spaces become true works of ephemeral art. With more than seven decades of history, this exhibition has established itself as one of the most outstanding cultural events of the Catalan spring.
The students of the Master’s in Design and Production of Spaces at UPC School will once again play a leading role in this edition with the artistic proposal “The Breath of Change”, promoted thanks to the collaboration with BBVA. An immersive installation that invites visitors to reflect on the processes of transformation in nature and the need to adapt to environmental changes.
The project can be visited at the church of Sant Martí, a space that is being incorporated for the first time as an intervention venue for Temps de Flors. The proposal is made possible thanks to the collaboration between Girona City Council, BBVA, and the master’s program, bringing to life creative initiatives that combine innovation, artistic sensitivity, and commitment to the environment.
