An Open Class is to be held at 06:30 PM on monday 05-10-2026 of the Continuing education master's degree Organization and Engineering of Production and Management of Industrial Plants (Engiplant) (Face-to-face).
A real story of professional transformation. Mauricio Paredes' career began with the Master's Degree in Industrial Operations Management (Engiplant) at UPC School and has evolved towards leading international operations, transformation projects in multinational companies, and global-scale Lean processes, bringing together teams, cultures and very diverse business environments.
Drawing on his experience, he will share how the Engiplant master's degree represented much more than a period of academic training: it brought a change in mindset, new tools to address complex challenges and a boost towards new professional opportunities.
An engaging talk on learning, leadership, decision-making and professional growth, and on how continuing education can open up paths that, at first, we may not yet be able to imagine.

Mauricio Paredes Dondo - Chief Operating Officer & Global Lean Leader - International Lean Coach
Electromechanical engineer and holder of a Master's Degree in Production Organization and Engineering and Industrial Plant Management from UPC School, with more than 15 years of experience in operations management, business transformation and operational excellence.
He has led industrial operations, multicultural teams and transformation processes across Europe and Latin America, working in international environments and a wide range of organizations.
He is a Master Black Belt in Lean Management and a member of the Lean Global Network (LGN), where he serves as an International Lean Coach and representative for Argentina.
His career combines executive vision, Lean Thinking, Strategy Deployment, leadership and organizational transformation, connecting strategy, people and processes to create value and drive continuous improvement.
