Next Thursday, March 5, at 6:30 p.m., UPC School will host in its Assembly Hall (c/ Badajoz 73-77, Barcelona) a new meetup session organized by the AWS Barcelona User Group community.
On the occasion of the visit to Barcelona by software engineer Marcia Villalba, within the framework of Talent Arena 2026 (MWC), we will explore with her the world of Serverless Architecture and Artificial Intelligence Agents.
The session will combine strategic vision with practical application. It will not be just theory: Marcia will deliver a live demo showing how to integrate intelligent agents into production environments using AWS services. A unique opportunity to discover how serverless architectures and AI agents are transforming the development and operation of cloud computing solutions.

Marcia Villalba is a Principal Developer Advocate at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she helps build scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications using serverless technologies. She has more than 20 years of experience in software engineering, working across multiple industries, languages, and platforms.
