An Open Class is to be held at 06:30 PM on thursday 19-03-2026 of the Continuing education master's degree Cybersecurity Management (Blended learning).
In this talk, Martín Vigo will share his professional career in the field of offensive security and his experience working in the United States. During the session, he will explain what working in Red Teaming involves, what knowledge and tools are needed to develop in this field, and which skills are currently most in demand in the sector.
The talk will also include the presentation of some of his security research, with real examples of vulnerabilities and techniques used by attackers to compromise systems and services. An opportunity to learn first-hand about the work of a professional with extensive international experience in ethical hacking and vulnerability analysis.
The speaker:
Martín Vigo, founder of Triskel Security and host of the podcast Tierra de Hackers
With more than a decade of experience in product security and software engineering, he has worked in areas such as mobile security, identity and authentication, code reviews, penetration testing, and cloud security. He currently focuses on offensive security, emulating cybercriminal techniques to detect vulnerabilities and improve the protection of organizations.
He has presented his research at some of the most prestigious international conferences in the field, such as DEF CON, Black Hat Europe, Ekoparty, BSides Las Vegas, Kaspersky Security Analyst Summit, and Shakacon.
His work focuses on red teaming, vulnerability research, OSINT, social engineering, and the development of attack tools, as well as training professionals in security best practices.
The session will take place on-line using Google Meet.
