‘Gaming en Femení’ is born, the first travelling and hybrid event dedicated to highlighting female talent in the video game sector in Catalonia.
The initiative, promoted by the GamingCAT association and coordinated by content creator Susana Pérez, known as Simmer Valenciana, combines outreach, debate and art. The inaugural launch of this project will take place this Saturday, 13 June, from 6:00 p.m., in the Assembly Hall of the Cotxeres de Sants centre.

The inaugural session will include live podcasts with DevCast —by DEVUEGO— and Rejugando, an expert round table focused on analysing politics within video games, and a keynote conference by Mariona Valls, art director and co-founder of the Catalan studio Mango Protocol, recognised for titles such as MechaNika and Agatha Knife.
The project also includes a biennial exhibition portraying 25 leading women in the video game industry and a pilot programme in educational centres, with the aim of bringing female role models in video games closer to future professionals in the sector.
