The Railway Museum of Catalonia presents the 4th edition of the Railway Dialogues Series, a space for outreach, reflection and debate on railways, mobility and public transport. The sessions will take place every Wednesday at 6:00 pm, from 14 October to 11 November 2026.
Now firmly established as a key event for bringing the world of railways closer to the public, the series retains its usual format: an opening presentation followed by an open discussion with the audience, with the aim of sharing knowledge, encouraging debate and fostering exchange between professionals, experts and people interested in the sector.
In this fourth edition, the Dialogues will explore the railway sector from a range of perspectives, focusing both on the current challenges facing the industry and on the value of railway heritage and its role in contemporary mobility and society.
Speakers will include lecturers from the UPC School Master's Degree in Railway Systems and Electric Traction:
- 21 October – Iñaki Barrón de Angoiti: "Investigation of accidents in the railway system: prevention and safety"
- 11 November – Lluís Ubalde: "La Sagrera intermodal station: the progress already made on a key project for Catalonia’s railway network"
The series is free and open to everyone, and no prior registration is required.
