Date: Friday 02-10-2026
Class schedule: 10:00 am to 2:15 pm

This Friday, 2 October, at 10:00 am, the Auditori Campus Fundació in Mollet del Vallès will host the Architecture and Health Conference, a meeting that will bring together professionals from the healthcare, academic and architectural fields to explore how the design of spaces can contribute to people’s well-being, more human-centred healthcare and the challenges facing today’s society.

The first part of the conference will focus on the transformation of healthcare architecture through a range of experiences and projects related to healthcare facilities, with representatives from Dr. Josep Trueta University Hospital in Girona, Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, Mollet University Hospital and LA(H)B taking part.

The second part of the event will explore the relationship between architecture, nature, health and spirituality through the legacy of Antoni Gaudí. It will include talks by Francesc Torralba, with the lecture “Gaudí, a thinker in an age of scarcity”, and David Agulló, PhD in Architecture, who will present “Gaudí and the Invisible Garden”.

The event is organised with the collaboration of the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya, Any Gaudí 2026 and Barcelona World Capital of Architecture.
