Picnic4working is an event that periodically brings together different names from the IT sector in Catalonia. The events begin with speakers giving introductions to a subject of current interest to the sector, after which refreshments are served and those attending have the opportunity to exchange professional experiences and points of view. The talks are free of charge and open to all. The first such event was held on 17 September, and proved to be a great success among professionals from the sector. The Picnic4working technology get-togethers are sponsored by Netmind and Datasix, with the collaboration of the Government of Catalonias Secretariat for Telecommunications and the Information Society , the UPC School of Professional & Executive Development, and the Barcelona City Council.
