The Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and CIM UPC are launching the 5th edition of the Industrial Tech Pre-Acceleration Program, a free in-person initiative (funded by the Department of Business and Labour and the European Social Fund Plus) that will take place from September 14 to December 3. The program requires a commitment of 8 to 10 hours per week over 15 weeks and aims to foster sector-based entrepreneurship focused on innovation, technology, and industrial hardware within the local ecosystem.
The training pathway offers 52 hours of technical classes (additive manufacturing, robotics, IoT, Big Data, virtual reality, and rapid prototyping) to provide business skills to technical profiles, as well as 40 hours of entrepreneurship and business management (business models, value proposition, sales, and funding). In addition, it includes a pool of personalized mentoring hours for both active projects (pre-acceleration phase with support in technological and strategic validation) and future entrepreneurs (idea-to-seed phase).
Registrations are open until September 4.
