An Open Class is to be held at 06:00 PM on wednesday 21-10-2026 of the Postgraduate Platform Engineering and DevOps with Kubernetes (Live Online).
In this hands-on session, we will explore live the challenges of deploying the same application across different Kubernetes clusters, distributed among multiple cloud providers and regions around the world.
Through a real-time demonstration, we will put manifests, APIs and reconciliation mechanisms to the test to discover which elements remain consistent, what changes across environments and where the real limits of cloud portability lie.
An opportunity to gain deeper insight into the technical challenges of Kubernetes in multicloud environments, explore the capabilities of this technology and discover how it can be applied in real-world scenarios. A practical introduction to the tools and knowledge covered in the UPC School's postgraduate programme in Platform Engineering and DevOps with Kubernetes.
